About Us Delta Communication (Delta) was formed in 1992 by its current directors following the acquisition of Communications Systems Research Ltd (CSRL) by Ferranti plc. Since 1992 we have won many contracts from industry, UK Government and the European Space Agency in a wide range of areas. In the early years the focus was on research and development. Since the late 1990s we have concentrated on the management of technical projects, primarily for the MoD, DTI and European Space Agency. Following a number of studies into vehicle communications and navigation technology areas, Delta, in partnership with QinetiQ, was awarded a telematics concept demonstrator contract from the DTI. In order to undertake this large project we formed the Traffiq consortium. This was recently formed into a limited company owned by its consortium members. Delta provides management consultancy, design consultancy and specialised software for the communications and telematics industries. Delta specialises in satellite communications and vehicle telematics. Our customers include many leading telecommunication organisations within Europe.
